Saint Ava's Sterling Silver Medal is Superbly crafted
This medal will be presented to my best friend's daughter, who is currently working on her pre-medical school degree, when we dine out this coming Friday. Her father, Michael, after years of severe physical and mental abuse from his alcoholic father during Michael's boyhood, had stopped practicing his Catholic Faith for 20 years. Four years ago (since he never had gone beyond his 1st communion) he returned and was confirmed. At the same time, under no duress, his daughter on her own accord decided to be baptized into the Catholic Church, and amazingly both daughter and father were in the same Confirmation Class. Olivia chose for her Confirmation Name Saint Ava.
