Having used the "original" printed version for years, I was very disappointed with the new layout of the "old blue book rosary novena". It is pushed together, giving one the feeling of "hurry up"--no picture to help you meditate. And unless you are familiar with the "old Book", it is laid out in a very confusing way. AND the print is so small, it is difficult to consecrate while praying because you are trying to make out the words. I have sent for the "large print" version, which should help that problem. Finally, I do miss the individual pictures of the stations. They were lovely and truly helped to concentrate on the prayer you were reciting. A BIG plus, the Mysteries of Light are included in this version of the Novena!!

This was purchased to replace a 30+ y.o Rosary Novenas to Our Lady pamphlet by Charles V. Lacey prefaced by Rev. Raymond P. Lawrence that is falling apart so badly I can't fix it anymore. This new version is pretty much the same except with the Mysteries of Light and different pictures. Of course this new one isnt stained or ripped either. Again I was pleased to find it..

This is also known as the 54-day rosary novena. 27 Days are prayed in petition and 27 days are prayed in thanksgiving. It is a very powerful novena. I highly recommend it. It also comes in a large print version.
