St. Maria Faustina

Saint Maria Faustina Kowalska was a Polish nun and mystic who is known for her devotion to the Divine Mercy. She reported having visions and conversations with Jesus, who instructed her to spread the message of God's mercy to the world. Maria Faustina's diary, "Divine Mercy in My Soul," records these experiences and the messages of mercy she received from Jesus. She also worked tirelessly in her religious community, performing menial tasks and serving as a cook, gardener, and porter. Saint Maria Faustina's visions and writings have had a profound impact on Catholic devotion to the Divine Mercy, and she was canonized by Pope John Paul II in 2000.
