St. Jude

Saint Jude was one of the Twelve Apostles of Jesus and is often referred to as Jude Thaddeus to distinguish him from Judas Iscariot. He is traditionally believed to have authored the Epistle of Jude in the New Testament. Jude is known for his unwavering faith and his missionary work, spreading the teachings of Jesus in various regions. He is especially venerated as the patron saint of lost causes and desperate situations due to his association with hope and assistance in seemingly impossible circumstances. Saint Jude is often depicted holding an image of Jesus or a club, symbolizing his apostolic journey and martyrdom.

Feast Day is on October 28.
