St. Valentine

St. Valentine is one of the most popular and widely recognized saints in the Catholic Church. Though the details of his life are shrouded in legend, he is traditionally celebrated as a martyr who lived during the Roman Empire.St. Valentine is best known for his association with romantic love and marriage. According to popular belief, he performed Christian weddings for couples when marriage was forbidden under Roman law. He is also said to have healed the daughter of his jailer while imprisoned, leading to his eventual martyrdom.
 

Feast Day is on February 14th, which has become synonymous with the celebration of love and affection.

Patronage: St. Valentine is the patron saint of lovers, beekeepers, and epilepsy, among other things. He is invoked for protection in matters of love, relationships, and marriage.
