St. John Bosco

Saint John Bosco, also known as Don Bosco, was an Italian Roman Catholic priest, educator, and writer of the 19th century. He dedicated his life to the betterment and education of poor youth, especially in the field of vocational training. Bosco founded the Salesian Order, which continues his work today, running schools, orphanages, and other educational institutions around the world. He is remembered for his kindness, compassion, and innovative educational methods. Saint John Bosco was canonized as a saint by Pope Pius XI in 1934.
