St. Veronica

St. Veronica, also known as St. Berenice, is a revered figure in Christian tradition, particularly in Catholicism. According to tradition, she was the compassionate woman who offered Jesus a cloth to wipe his face as he carried his cross to Golgotha. In return, an imprint of his face miraculously appeared on the cloth, which came to be known as the Veil of Veronica.Despite limited information about her life, St. Veronica is celebrated for her act of compassion and bravery during Jesus' Passion. She stands as an example of selflessness and devotion to Christ.

Feast Day is on July 12th.

Patronage: St. Veronica is the patron saint of photographers and laundry workers. She is also invoked for assistance in matters related to facial diseases and against the temptation of vanity.
