St. Mother Frances Cabrini

Saint Frances Xavier Cabrini, also known as Mother Cabrini, was an Italian-American nun who founded the Missionary Sisters of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. She dedicated her life to serving immigrants, particularly Italian immigrants, in the United States. Mother Cabrini established schools, orphanages, and hospitals to care for the poor and marginalized. Despite facing many obstacles and hardships, she remained steadfast in her mission, traveling extensively to support her growing congregation and serve those in need. Mother Cabrini was the first American citizen to be canonized as a saint by the Catholic Church. She is remembered for her compassion, courage, and dedication to serving others.
