St. Monica

Saint Monica was a 4th-century Christian saint and the mother of Saint Augustine of Hippo. She is remembered for her steadfast faith and prayers for her son's conversion. Despite Augustine's wayward youth and resistance to Christianity, Monica never gave up praying for him. Her prayers were eventually answered, and Augustine converted to Christianity, becoming one of the most influential theologians in Western Christianity. Saint Monica is revered as a model of patience, perseverance, and faith in God's timing. Her feast day, August 27th, is a celebration of her life and devotion.
