St. Vincent de Paul

St. Vincent de Paul, born in 1581 in France, dedicated his life to serving the poor and marginalized. He founded the Congregation of the Mission (Vincentians) to evangelize the rural poor and educate priests. St. Vincent also co-founded the Daughters of Charity, an order of women devoted to nursing and caring for the sick and needy. He is renowned for his compassion and commitment to social justice.

Feast Day is on September 27th.

Patronage: St. Vincent de Paul is the patron saint of charitable societies, hospitals, prisoners, and volunteers. He is revered for his tireless work in alleviating suffering and his advocacy for the less fortunate.
