St. Liam

St. Liam, also known as Saint William of Perth, was a Scottish baker who lived in the 12th century. He was known for his piety and acts of charity, particularly his habit of baking extra bread to give to the poor. While on a pilgrimage to the Holy Land, William was murdered near Rochester, England, by his adopted son, who sought to steal his money. After his death, many miracles were attributed to his intercession, and he was venerated as a martyr. His shrine in Rochester became a popular pilgrimage site, and he is remembered for his kindness, faith, and tragic end.

Feast Day is on June 22.
