St. Mary Magdalene

Saint Mary Magdalene is one of the most prominent women mentioned in the Gospels and is considered one of Jesus' most devoted followers. She is mentioned by name in the New Testament as being present at Jesus' crucifixion and burial and as being the first witness to His resurrection. Mary Magdalene is often associated with repentance and forgiveness due to her portrayal as a formerly sinful woman who was redeemed by Jesus.
