The Imitation of Christ book by Thomas Kempis is a must read for any Catholic (or Christian). I have read about six complete translations of the book. The abridged translation by Sister Fisk, a Saint Joseph Edition, offers some of the best chapters of the complete book. This book is clearly translated and has a good-sized print in a pocket-sized book.
