Blessed Carlo Acutis

Set to become the first millennial saint, Carlo was an Italian teenager who became renowned for his deep faith and devotion to the Catholic Church.

Despite his young age, he demonstrated a remarkable spiritual maturity and a passion for the Eucharist, which he often referred to as his "highway to Heaven." Known or his adept use of technology, he created a website documenting Eucharistic miracles from around the world, combining his love for computing with his faith. His efforts were not only a testament to his dedication but also a means of sharing his belief with others.

Tragically, Carlo's life was cut short when he died of leukemia on October 12, 2006, at the age of 15. His death was met with a profound sense of loss, but his example continued to inspire many. He was beatified by Pope Francis on October 10, 2020, making him the youngest non-martyr to be beatified. Carlo Acutis is celebrated for his unwavering faith and his ability to integrate modern technology with traditional Catholic values, serving as a beacon for young people and the faithful alike.
