Short & Long Palm Strips Instructions:
- First Step - Pull All Bagged Palms Out of the Box! It is best to store all palms upright and avoid stacking bags flat on top of each other if possible!
- Second Step - Check the contents of the box for your order. Bags should be removed from each box to allow more cool air to circulate while the palms are in storage.
- Third Step - DO NOT tear bags open right when you receive, rather, wait until you are ready to use or arrange them! Keep sealed bags of palms in cool area. DO NOT freeze! If no refrigerated space is available, keep in well-lit, air-conditioned space to prevent molding.
Brown tips - DO NOT Panic! Brown tips are a natural feature of almost all healthy palm leaves. Brown tips do not indicate your palm is dried or drying. It is very common for leaves to have three inches or more of brown tips, especially on Altar Decorations.
Altar Decorations Instructions: Altar Decorations are just like fresh flowers - keep refrigerated until ready to arrange. DO NOT OPEN THE PLASTIC BAGS UNTIL READY TO USE!
- Cut the stems at a 45-degree diagonal just above the bottom end of stem.
- Place in ICE WATER for 1-3 hours. This will add lister to any dry appearing altar decorations. This then will allow for any leaves that come in tightly folded to open up when placed in ice water.
- Keep water in arrangement vessel - this will keep palms fresh up and through your service.
