After reading some books about purgatory, indulgences, visitations to the saints from purgatory, I decided this book was a needed item in our family. My daughter is homeschooling our granddaughter in CCD so she is researching the parts of our Church that we are unfamiliar with. We are both wondering why this last part of the journey-in purgatory , which is so very very important to all of us, is not preached from the pulpit as well as a major focus in our CCD and adult ed classes? Why would priests try to teach us how to live in love and care here and now without pressing into our hearts the real truth of purgatory and the extreme need for prayers and indulgences. It is not old fashioned Catholicism. It is needed today as much as in the old Church. We needed this book so very much in order to know when, where and how our personal soul has to be to pray for indulgences for ourselves and the souls in purgatory. There is more to it than just saying "I pray for souls in purgatory". Thank you for carrying this book.
